License terms

Your plan. Your license.

The rules for Individual — Pay once, Family — Pay once and Individual — Yearly, including updates, activation limits and subscription expiry.

The license

Individual — Pay once costs €19.99 and gives one person a permanent Slurp 1.x license for up to three Macs at a time, including Slurp 1.x updates made available by the developer. Family — Pay once costs €49.99 once and includes three separate individual licenses with the same rights and activation limit for each person. Each license is personal and non-transferable. You may deactivate a Mac and activate another.

Developer and checkout provider

Slurp is developed and product-supported by Bart Knobben. Purchases made through the current Slurp checkout use Stripe Managed Payments. At checkout, Link acts as merchant of record for the transaction.

Stripe / Link handles payment processing, applicable indirect taxes, receipts, transaction-level support, and subscription order management. Slurp provides the software and product support. The checkout shows the final amount, including any applicable taxes, before you pay.

Individual — Yearly

Individual — Yearly costs €9.99 per year, billed yearly, and renews automatically until cancelled. It includes full access to the latest Slurp version, all updates and future major versions while subscribed, for one person on up to three Macs.

Cancelling renewal leaves access active until the paid period ends. Downloading and recording stop when the subscription expires. Files already downloaded stay on your Mac. An expired subscription does not remove the rights of a separate permanent license you own.

Trial

The full trial lasts seven days and starts after your first successful download or live recording. No payment card is required to start the trial. Trial enforcement is tied to a randomly generated installation identifier.

Future major versions

For Individual — Pay once and Family — Pay once, a future Slurp 2.0 or other major version is an optional €9.99 upgrade per person, per upgrade. Each purchased major upgrade includes updates within that major version. Individual — Yearly includes major upgrades while subscribed. Buying Slurp 1.x does not obligate you to upgrade, and the version you licensed remains yours to use subject to these terms and technical compatibility.

Acceptable use

Use Slurp only for media you are legally authorized to save or record, and comply with applicable copyright law and the terms of the services you use. Slurp is not intended to defeat DRM or other access-control systems. You may not use Slurp to facilitate unlawful access to content.

Third-party services and compatibility

Slurp interoperates with third-party websites and services that can change without notice. A source that works today may change, restrict access, or stop working later. The developer may provide compatibility fixes, but cannot guarantee permanent support for every third-party service, format, quality, or live stream.

Open-source components

Slurp includes third-party open-source components. Those components remain governed by their own licenses, available on the Open Source page and in the application’s notices.

Payments, cancellation, refunds and revocation

Individual — Yearly renews automatically once per year until cancelled. Use Manage subscription to stop the next renewal. Cancelling does not end the current paid period early; access remains active until that period ends.

To request a product-specific refund, use the Contact form, choose the refund or purchase topic, and provide the same email address used at checkout plus any receipt or order details you still have. Refund requests are handled according to the checkout terms, applicable consumer law, and the circumstances of the request. Transaction-level support is also provided through Stripe Managed Payments / Link.

If a purchase is refunded, disputed, charged back, or otherwise revoked, the associated Slurp license may stop validating.

Warranty and liability

Slurp is provided with the level of care reasonably expected of software of this type, but third-party service changes, network conditions, source restrictions, and platform changes can affect operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

Governing terms

Subject to mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live, these terms are governed by Danish law. For questions about these terms, use the Contact form.
