Getting started with Slurp

Before you start

Slurp 1.0.2 requires an Apple silicon Mac (M1 or later) running macOS 14 or later. Intel Macs are not supported.

Install Slurp

1. Download the Slurp DMG from get-slurp.app.
2. Open the DMG and drag Slurp to Applications.
3. Quit any copy running from the mounted DMG and reopen Slurp from Applications.

The public Slurp app is distributed directly, signed with Apple Developer ID, and notarized by Apple.

Make your first download

1. Paste a supported media-page URL into Slurp.
2. Let Slurp analyse the page and show the formats it can access.
3. Choose video or audio, the quality you want, and subtitles when the source provides them.
4. Start the download. The finished file is saved to your configured download folder.

When the trial starts

The full seven-day trial starts after your first successful download or live recording. Every feature is available during the trial and no payment card is required. The trial does not automatically become a subscription.

Try the steps in Troubleshooting a failed download. If the problem remains, use Help → Contact Support or Report this problem inside Slurp when available.
